Naturpark Aukrug (Aukrug Nature Park) is situated in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein, to the west of Neumuenster.
Leave Autobahn A7 at the exit Neumuenster-Mitte. From here, in the direction Itzehoe Bundesstrasse 430, it is exactly 11.9 kilometers to the centre of the Nature Park. Leave the Bundesstrasse at the exit Aukrug-Homfeld.
Drive to the middle of the village (Dorfmitte) and turn into the first right-hand street, the Buchenweg.
